"Memorandum of this my last will and testament...that I. Phillip Templeton of this Township and James Mantesth(?) storekeeper in Kitterring both of the aforesaid County be executors of this my will...Item, it is my will and I bequeath to by loving wife Elizabeth McDonel & her and my children all the Household furniture beds and bedding of every kind. Item I bequeath also to my wife and children what grain I have both in the house and in the mill to go to their use. Item I bequeath also to my wife and children two cows & her choice of 3 of the young Nags & the four sheep that is now on the plantation Item I bequeath also to my loving wife and child all the grain in the ground to go to their suport and use Item it is my will and desire that the plantation I now live on be rented and in case there is a surplus above or more that will support my wife and children I allow it to go to repay any debts thats against the place. Item It is my will that in case there is any money receieved from Father in laws estate that it be put also to the use of defray any debts that may be against the estate. Item It is my will and I I bequeath to my mother whil she lives with my wife and children that she has and gets an equal support with them of every thing already mentioned. Item It is my will and I desire that in ---- need requires that the executors sell the estate to the best advantage in their power and than that all lawfull debts be discharged & the surplus or whats over and above go to the use of my wife & children & mother in case she continue to live with them. Item, it is my will that in case the estate is sold that my wife, children & mother have an equal share out of the estate excepting my oldest child Issabella that I will that she has two shares in place of their one. Item It is my will that the horses and farming utensils and what cow cattle is after the two that is already mentioned be sold & also what Nags is remaining after what is reserved and the money or price fo them to be put to the use of defraying such depts as may be against the setate. To all of this my last will and testament in presence of these witness, I do set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of February in the year our Lord one thousand eight hundred & sixteen.

"In the name of God...I Joseph McDonald Sr of the Township of Franklin county of Armstrong Pa. do make...First I direct that all my depts be paid ...First I give and bequeath to my daughters Mary Butler and Eliza Foreman the sum of fifty dollars (with he exceptions hereinafter mentioned) next I give and bequeath to my several sons vis Joseph, Jacob, John, Mathew, Miller William and Elijah Horner an equal share of the remainder of all my monies and money arising from the sale of my personal property with the exception of Jacob to have forty dollars less, and John to have thirty three dollars less than an equal share with my other sons Joseph, Mathew, Miller, William and Elijah Horner - I also order and direct that in the event of what money is due to me by John C. McDinney that if said money is lost or cannot be collected then my said daughters Mary Butler and Eliza Foreman to have the sum of ten dollars and my said several sons Joseph Mathew Miller William and Elijah Horner, share and share alike of the remainder and I do nominate and appoint my son Joseph and Jesse Stephenson executors to this my last will and testament Giving and granting unto them full power and authority to do all acts and things needful and necessary touching the exectuion of this my last will and testament,
