" In the name of God, Amen, I John McDonald of the State of Pa and County of Fayette...do this 10th day of April 1786 ...I give to my beloved wife Mary 10 pounds of moveable ... and give and bequeath unto my well beloved wife and daughter Rachel. the plantation ...I also give unto my grandson John Springer 5 pounds....and as to the rest of my moveable estate I desire the same to be equally divided amongst all my sons and daughters... I appoint my true friend Zadock Springer together with my wife to be Executors...I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this 12th day of April 1786.

"In the name of God, Amen, the 23 day of October 1797, I Isaac McDonald of George Township Fayette County ...First, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary all my lands & ... until my son Smith Augustus come to the age of twenty one years and she to educate and maintain the children. 2nd I give ...to my son Abuer (Abner?) 30 acres...to include the cabbin wherein Devald Motes now lives...after he [Abner] come to the age of 21...I give ... to my daughter Rebekah Cassia Sarah & Phebe each ...15 pounds...I give to my daughters Hannah Motes, Mary Mcdonald & Rachel Stuart each 5 shillings and likewise I give to my sons William, John , Samuel, Isaac, Aaron, and Abraham & my daughters Ann Husted each the sum of 5 shillings...My land warrant which being laid on my Brother Alexander M'donald ...appoint my wife Mary Executrix and Robert Rickey Executor ..."

I leave to my mother Mary McDonald all my lands I now possess...for her natural life and after her deceas the said land to be equally divided between John Springer and Jacob Springer, sons of Nathan Springer... I bequeath to Rachel Springer, daughter of Nathan Springer...until she comes of age...I do likewise constitute ...my trusty friend James Duwuard(?) my sole executor...this 20 day of April 1798."

"In the name of God, Amen, I John McDonald Senior being...to my beloved wife Sarah McDonald our bed and bedding one black horse...to my son John 50 acres of land...I will.. to my son David 50 acres of land adjoining his brother Johns and Robert Bairds lands...to my son James one half the residue of my lands to be laid off joining James Ewing(?) and Robert Harrisons lands he paying annually 13 dollars to his mother..to his sister Mary and Deborah in equal parts...to my son William the residue of my lands he paying annually 13 dollars to his mother ...to his sisters Sarah and Betsey in equal parts... I will... to my daughters Mary, Deborah, Sarah and Betsey in addition to the above sums...I consititite and appoint Robert Baird and Charles Porter Jun. Executors of ...this 20th day of April in the year...1802."

" Be it known...that I James McDonald of Menallen Township Fayette County... I give...wife Ann McDonald ...I give... unto my three grand daughters namely Hannah, Agaba(?) and Nancy McDonald 20 pounds a peice in cash ...as they shall come of age... I give.. unto Benjamin Phillips 50 acres ... whereon Barnet Christopher now lives formerly called Conleys place...I give...all the remainder of my plantation unto my tow grandsons names John McDonald & Barholomew to be divided equally between them both...after my debts ...all the remainder of my moveable be equally divided amongst my six grandchildren namely John, Barholomew, James Hannah, Azubah, and Nancy McDonald excepting one mare saddle and bridle worth twenty pounds which I give and bequeath... my grandson James McDonald...I do hereby nominate...William Barton and Thomas Lewis Executors ...26 day of March 1805:.
