The NBCEF

Racism continues to be the major barrier to authentic evangelization that is open to and affirming of the Black experience.

The National Black Catholic Evangelization Forum, in collaboration with other national organizations, offers promising practices that will empower local and regional leaders to do the work of evangelization in the areas of:

    Spiritual and Liturgical Celebrations
    Education and Christian Formation
    Evangelization and Outreach
    Development and Collaboration
In all four areas, the eradication of the evil of racism is the primary goal.

Being Black and CatholicProject Reach Out is the primary outreach program of the Forum. Through Project Reach Out the Black Catholic Community can focus its energy and resources on sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the churched and unchurched people of the Black Community.
