In 1991, we finished converting our 240 year-old barn into what has been called the most attractive barn conversion in Berkshire County.
In 1993, our winter tenants, part of the Butternut Basin Ski Patrol, named it "Barn With Character," and so it was called until 2004, when Maya's garden finally surrounded and enveloped it.

M aya's Garden House is located in the middle of Maya's Garden, in Gt. Barrington, MA., 1/2 mile east of the intersection of routes 7 & 23 (Belcher Square). It has a large, open living area with 20 foot high cathedral ceiling, three bedrooms and two baths. It has a full kitchen with dishwasher, and available bunk beds for kids.

M aya's Garden sits on 15 acres, ten of which are wooded, providing plenty of sitting and playing space in the summer, and cross-country skiing in winter.

M aya's Garden House is available for rental during the summer and winter seasons.

Winter Season is defined as from December 15th, or the opening of Butternut Basin, whichever is earlier, to March 15th, or the closing of Butternut Basin, whichever is later. Summer Season is essentially July and August, but can be extended in either direction.
