Membership in the Hoffmann Bird Club is open

to anyone interested in birds and bird study.

Annual dues are $10 per person ($5 for students at

any level). Students under 18 must be

accompanied by an adult. Contact the Treasurer

for more details.

Monthly meetings are held at Pleasant Valley

Sanctuary, 427 W. Mountain Rd, Lenox, MA,

637-0320 or at Berkshire Life, 700 South St.,

Pittsfield, MA, 499-4321. Consult the schedule

for the specific dates and locations. Meetings

begin at 7:00PM and are open to everyone

interested in birds at no charge. Light

refreshments will be served.

Field Trips – Listed times are for leaving;

please arrive a few minutes early to meet the

leaders and car pool when possible. Most local

trips last until lunch, unless otherwise noted. For

trips out of town please contact the trip leader for

confirmation. Call the leader if you have questions.

 

Bartholomew’s Cobble Trips – All trips to

Bartholomew’s Cobble, 105 Weatogue Rd.,

Ashley Falls, MA meet at the times indicated.

rates to programs. General admission free to club

Bird Sightings that are unusual or interesting

should be reported to the hotlines to keep members

informed. This information is also shared with

“The Voice of Western Massachusetts” and other

regional bird clubs.

hotline is also used to announce unscheduled trips,

to request information, or to arrange carpooling.

Club Telephone Hotline is used to alert club

members of bird sightings that are of unusual
