HOWARD'S ANTIQUES specializes in the collection and restoration of antique light fixtures, having since 1975 dedicated ourselves to study of the art and building of an inventory of these hard-to-find pieces. Now it is our intent to reach out to you, the connoisseur, to offer the fruits of our efforts.
All of our fixtures are ready for installation, having been painstakingly restored and the non-electric units discreetly wired. As it is increasingly difficult to locate these treasures, particularly the glass shades, each should be considered 'one-of-a-kind' unless otherwize noted. As our seach is on-going, we can occasionally closely replicate a unit for use in a situation where more than one is desireable. HOWARD'S collection includes a broad spectrum of fixtures dating from the late 1890's to the 1930's and ranging from single delicate gas-light wall fixtures to elegant chandeliers. In addition, should you not find something to satisfy, chances are we can locate such through our many contacts in the field.
Further details and information may be obtained by writing, calling, or e-mailing us (addresses and numbers are provided by the information box to the left). We are equipped to ship anywhere UPS delivers. Payment by check or money order will be accepted for merchandise desired, with the understanding that unless totally satisfied, it may be returned within 10 days, UPS prepaid and insured, for exchange or refund of the purchase price. (Please allow standard shipping time for delivery.)
HOWARD'S ANTIQUES invites you to visit our showrooms located in the beautiful southern Berkshires of western Massachusettes. We will delight in showing you not only our impressive selection of lighting fixtures, but also, for those interested, our other specialty -- antique dining room tables in sizes from 6'-12' and woods of every nature, all beautifully restored and dating from the 1860's and '70's. Additional antiques, of American Country design, include chest of drawers, end tables, desks, rockers, cupboards, chairs, and decorative acessories. Showrooms are open week-days (exept Tuesday) 9 A.M.-5 P.M., Week-ends 10 A.M.-5 P.M.
If you are involved in a restoration project, seeking period lighting for a particular situation or striving to bring an element of nastolgia into a contemporary setting, we offer our inventory and services. We look forward to working with you.
Sincerely,
Jeff and Linda Howard
