Lots of people encountered this Camper Creature this past weekend and wanted to know what is was. Even though he didn't have a reservation at Bald Mountain, we were the ones intruding on his campground. Maybe this will answer their question.

So!!! This is how the webmaster left his site? Shame on you. Or was it really something else that happened. Scroll down to see.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON ENTERTAINMENT AT
WEST RIVER WESTIES
BY
"OLD MOTHER WEST RIVER WEST WIND"

Sunday afternoon after most everyone had departed for home after a wonderful weekend there was a special performance at 3PM by the renowned nature Artist "OLD MOTHER WEST RIVER WEST WIND". She has played around the world many times but this one only special performance was put on for the remaining 11 campers.  9 of those who had reservations for this Rock Concert did not arrive until her performance was over and I'm sorry to say they were not too happy with the aftermath of her performance. We were the only ones who got to see and hear her brief 10 minute on-stage exhibition on the midway.

She came in at about 50 miles an hour with lots of load noises and a spectacular light show, but the best part of her act was the waterfall. She has practiced the waterfall routine many times before so it went off without a hitch. We watched the show from inside our Westfalia II which was really rocking with her loud music and as I neglected to close the front windows on our Westy in the haste to get ready for her performance, we wound up with a half inch of water in the cab from her waterfall gimmick.

If you enjoyed the Saturday and Sunday activities at WRW like the visit of the Pinzgauer 710K, the Potluck Supper and Raffle, the Caravan to the Townshend Lake Dam, the Grafton Cheese Factory and John's Car Corner, the Burrito breakfast, Campfire get-to-gethers and beautiful July weather I don't think you would have been so keen about "OLD MOTHER WEST RIVER WEST WIND" last minute unscheduled performance on Sunday afternoon.

See you around when we dry out.
