"...I, James G. McDonald of Hanover Township, Beaver County...I give
and bequeath unto my neice Mary Martin....but William
Martin husband of said Mary is to give my neice Ann Dever as her share of
said estate the farm (containing 70 acres) which said Martin formerly lived
on in county and township aforesaid...and appoint James Harper and David
Little executors...4th day of February 1837:.

"2nd Nov 1837. David Crawford appeals from the decision of the Register relative to the probate of the last will of James G. McDonald dec'd & request a Registers Court to be held to try the validity of said will. The said David Crawford having offered[?] before said Register that the said James G. McDonald dec'd was not at the time of the inception of said will of sound and desposing mind and memory & not capable of making a will. Registers Court to be held on the 4th day of January 1838."
"29th December 1837 Citation issued to William Martin and Ann Dever and to James Harper and David Little executors of James G. McDonald dec'd and a subpeona to Robert Ramsey to appear before Registers Couty to be held at the Court House in the Borough of Beaver on Thursday the 4th day of January next."
"In the matter of the last will of James G. McDonald...George Crawford [David in earlier document] of the county aforesaid doth ...enter an appeal in the Registers office...alleging that the said James G. McDonald at the time of the execution of the said supposed last will and testament above mentioned was not of sufficient legal capacity to make a will. "
"4th Jan 1838 At a REgister Court....the court direct a [?] for an [?] to the Court of Common Pleas to try the validity of said will".
