WILL

"The last will and Testimant of John Mcdonald of the Township of Springfield inthe County fo Mercer and Sate of Pensyulvania, I John Mcdonald considering the uncertainty...first I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary Mcdonald the one third part of the profiets of the farm aon which I now live to gather with the house and houshole furniture dureing her natural life, Itam, I give and bequeath to my eldist son Danial that portion of land purchesed of Gilmores lot together with the field lyin gon the North East corner of the old farm and also one hundred Dollars worth of the chattle property to hold to him the said Danial Mcdonald his haire or asigns forever. Item, And I hereby give and bequeath to my son John Mcdonald a part of the farm on which I live on the North of said lot adjoining Simon Uber fifty eight perches in lenght resarving the field bequeathed to Danial and reserving ten acres on the North West corner of said farm to holdto him said John Mcdonald his haires and asign forever. Item, And I give and bequeath to my son David forty-seven and half acres of land on the Sourth west part of the farm on which I live to hold to him the said David Mcdonald his haires and asigns forever. Item. And I bequeath to my younger son Markes the remaining part of my farm on the south east together with ten acres on the Northwest cornerom my farm to holde to him the said Marquis Mcdonald his haires and asigns forever. And as to all the rest residue and remainders of my personal estate goods and chattels of what kind an dnature soever I bequeath to my beloved wife Mary one horse and saddle and one cow and the remainder to be sold and the proceids to be devided equally to my daughters Elizabeth Strate, Mary Mcdowel, Catherin Mcdowel, Susan Wingad, Hannah Mcdonald and Sarah Mcdonald.

And further I injoin it upon my sons Danial, John, David and Marquis to pay equal shares of the just debts and all reasonable expence that may accrue, and that John & David do pay twenty five Dollars each and Marquis fifty Dollers to my two younger Dauters Hannah and Sarah when the become twinty one years of age.

I hereby appoint my beloved wife Mary Mcdonnald sole Exacutrix of this my last will and testament here by revokeing all former wills by me made. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the first day of March one thousand and Eight hundred and forty one.
