I have to request that you will grant letters of administration of the estate of my late husband Wm H. S. MDonald dec'd to Alesander R. Nickle as I do hereby renounce in his favor my right to administer on said estate.

Mercer County

at an Orphans court held at Mercer in and for the county of Mercer on the 23 day of June 1845 the petition of Alexander Nickles Administrator of the estate of William McDonald late of Deleware Township of Mercer County - Deced represented died intestate leaving a wife and children and seized of fifty acres of land in said township adjoinging lands of Charles McDonald on the north and west Hawthorn on the East Wm Baskin on the South being fifty acres out of the South East corner of a Donation Lot No _ in 4th district of 200 acres that the personal property is insifficiant for the payment of the Debts of the decd he therefore prayed the Hon Court to grant him an order to sell fifty acres or so much as will pay the Debts of the decd & c

June Term 1845 prayer granted and the court decree the sale of the [?] property at the Court house in the 3rd Monday of September next - Terms of Sale 1/3 in hand balance in 2 equal annual payments with interest to be secured upon the land and to be advertised according to law in 2 papers and several hand bills

To the homorable the judges of the Orphans Court of Mercer County at June term 1845 -

The petition of Alex R. Nickle administrator of the estate of William S. McDonald late of Delaware township Mercer County represents -

that the said William died intestate leaving a wife and children and seized of fifty acres of land in said township ajoining land of Chas McDonald on the South and West Hawthorne on the East and Dr. Baskin on the South being fifty acres out of the South East corner of Donation Lot no _ in 4 District of 200 acres - that the personal property is insufficient for the payment of the debts - He therefor prays your honor to grant him an order to sell said fifty acres in so much as will be necessary for the payments of debts as per statement of the sum[?] hereunto annexed and much part of this petition And he wite[?] pray
