"Know all men by these presents that I Christopher McDonald of Churteers Creek Yohogania County and State of Virginia for...the sum of 100 pound Pennsylvanian currency to me in hand paid by Robert McGee of Peters Creek Former County and State aforesaid...have sold...parcel of land situate on the north fork of Kings Creek, bounded and adjoining lands of Capt Hank Hogland and James Sturges containing 440 acres...In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand...this 24th day of November 1778"

Archibald McDonald to James Stewart, 1802,

"This indenture made this 25th day of January...1802 Between Archabald McDonald of the County of Washington...and James Stewart of the County of Ohio and State of Virginia...for and in consideration of the sum of 270 dollars...have granted...a part of the larger tract of land called Deer Park situate on Middle Wheeling Creek n Washington County Beginning at a Black Jack Corner to William McCoy thence...by land formerly claimed by John McArthur...thence by Wm McCoys line...to the place of Beginning containing 90 acres strict measure. Which said large tract of alnd was surveyed in persuance of a warrant granted to William Meetkirke dated the 13th day of February 1786 who by deed dated the 19th of November 1786 conveyed the same to a certain Jonathan Leit in fee for Whome a patent issued dated the 22nd day of March 1787 Inrolled in the Roll Office for the State of Pennsylvania in the patent Book No 8 page 377, who by deed dated the 15th of April 1797 conveyed the same to sd Archibald McDonald ...

...Whereas the said Archabald Mcdonald and Elizabeth his wife has hereunto set their hands and affixt their seal the day and year first above written."

"Know all men...that I james Martin of Berkley County and State of Virginia for and in consideration of the sum of $500...paid by John McDonald of the County of Washington ..do sell...A certain tract...situated adjoining land of William Gladen, John Akins, Robert Hunter, Henderson, John White and Samuel Moorehead containng 116 acres and 22 perches...peing a part of that tract of land containing 436 acres...which the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania granted to me by pattent having date the 2nd day of June...1788 Inrolled in the Rolls Office...in Patent Book No 14 page 224...

...in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand...this 11th day of September...1802"

"This Indenture made the 8th day of December...1802. Between Eneos M(a)cDonnald of Washington County Nottingham Township...and Rebech his wife...and Henery Swartze of teh County and State aforesaid...for the consideration of $1928...sell...a parcel of land situate on the waters of Mingor Creek in Nottingham Township, Bounded as follows.

Beginning at a post thence by land of Jesse Hunstman & others ...thence by land of John Grant...thence by land of William Kenedy...thence by land of George Swartze...to the place of beginning. Containing 208 acres adn 20 perches long measure. It being part of a tract of land pattanted in the name of Eneos M(a)cDonnald by pattent having date the 5th day of April ...1796 Inrolled in the rolls office in Pattant Book No. 27 page 452..."

"This indenture made and concluded by and between John M[a]cDonald of Robinson township...and Robert Hunter of Cecil township...both of Washington County...for and in consideration of the sum of $650...hath granted...a certain piece of land adjoining land of said Hunter & John Ackine, Samuel Moorhead and other being part of a track of alnd belongin gunto James Martain which was conveyed to said Martain by said Sstate by pattan bearing date June 2nd 1788 and roald in patean book No 14 page 224 which piece of land said M[a]cDonald purchased from said James Martain the 7th of September in the year 1802....

...Dated this 1st day of Febry ...1803.

"This Indenture made this 30th day of March...1805 by and between Andrew Mcdonald and Polly his wife of Nottingham township Washington County...and John Patterson...for and in consideration of $400 ...do sell...the following tract of land situate lying and being in the township and bounded as followeth beginning...thence by land of McGees heirs...by land of Aron Williams...thence by William Stewarts land...by land of John Patterson...to the place of beginning containing 60 acres [lost on edge]...being part of a tract of land for which Ezekiel [lost on edge] obtained a Pattent the 16th day of November 1787 and conveyed the same to samuel Buabout the 8th 1791 and Buabout to McDonald November 14th 1801..."

"This Indenture made this ____ day of November...1809 between William McDonald and Elizabeth his wife of Washington County... and John Haft of said County...for and in consideration of $720..do grant...all that tract of alnd where said William McDonald now lives on bounded as follows beginning at a hickory corner[?] to David Glenn and rober Dougherty thence by Dougherty's line south..to the middle of the road on Doughertys line and corner to Jacob Miller thence...to said Miller thence with John Cooks land...to the beginning...containing 80 acres and 24 perches...(It being part of tract of land surveyed for Andrew Swearingen and the said Andrew Swearingen and Elizabeth his wife made over unto the said William Mcdonald by deed of conveyance date the 12th of March 1787 record on book D folio 73 and 74)..."

"This indenture made the 23rd day of November 1814 between Archibald McDonnel fo Ohio county & State of Virginia & Elisabeth his wife ...and Henry Greams of Washington county...Wittneseth that the said Archibald McDonnell & Elisabeth his wife for..$126...have sold...a certain house & lott in the Town of alexandrea in said county being lott number 29 in the plan of said Town and bounded as followith to witt. Beginning at the corner of Bread Alley on Washinton Street thence by street north 78 degrees east seventy feet thence north 12 degrees west 250 feet thence south 78 degrees west 70 feet to teh corner of said alley thence south 12 degrees eeast by said ally 240 feet to the beginning..."
