1977 Porsche 924
My first Porsche, a 1977 924. This was the first year for the anemic 924, but this particular vehicle possessed a Callaway Turbo. Believed to be one of Callaway's original test mules, it was equipped with a water injector that kept the 924's infamous overheating in control. Even at idle the exhaust manifolds on this stormer glowed cherry red.
The model was built pretty much box stock with some hand painted upholstery
patterns and custom mixed paint for the standard 924 olive dash. There
a few missing trim parts that have detached themselves over the years.
