To put Christian principles and character development into practice through programs and services that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all, with a vision to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities. The YMCA does not feature any particular program or serve any group, or only those with a certain health problem, or only those from a single economic class. The YMCA deliberately remains flexible so it can offer programs that are in each community's best interest.
