| Community Needs and Special Grants
reviews data on well-being in North County and annually recommends to
NBUW's Board of Directors a Statement of Community Vision, Issues, and
Priorities. This statement becomes a guide for other committees
in funding, membership, and other decisions. CN&SG also oversees
NBUW's efforts to help agencies secure grants from government offices,
private corporations and foundations, and the Committee makes decisions
regarding requests for special 1-time grants for local needs from NBUW's
own funds. |

Goals 03-04:
-Move the committee to a HIGHER level of functionality. Develop future chair. -Refine statement of vision, issues, and priorities -Support Berkshire Navigation -Manage NBUW's grantwriting services. Fine tune the program to better suit the needs of member agencies -Manage NBUW's one-time grant program. Improve agency awareness of NBUW grants opportunity |
