Bumper Crop is a plant food applied to the foliage which not only helps the plants grow faster, but aids the plant in producing more of its own sugars, making the fruits much sweeter.

For many years it has been known that plants can absorb essential food nutrients through their leaves as well as their roots. However, there are some very important and basic differences in what they absorb and how they absorb it.

When plant foods, whether they be commercial in nature or organic, are applied to the soil, microbes and soil acids must break them down into components that the plant can use. This process takes place over a period of time and makes nutrients available, usually in the form of acids, for the plants to convert into its basic building blocks.

Plant food not in this usable form will burn the plants if applied directly to the plant either on roots or on foliage. Care must be taken in applying plant food of any type.

Chelation is the name that has been given to the process by which the plant food is reduced to a usable(available) state and chelated plant food may be applied directly on the plant.

Plants have the ability to absorb almost the entire amount of applied nutrients in a very short period of time. Most studies indicate that more than 90% of the nutrients are absorbed in a usable form in less than four hours from the time of application. Of course this varies for many reasons not the least of which might be time of day, general health of the plant, stress factors, etc, etc...

Foliar nutrients are usually applied as a VERY fine mist over the top of the plant AND ALLOWED TO SETTLE DOWN ONTO THE FOLIAGE - MUCH IN THE MANNER OF DEW SETTLING. Do Not Apply To The Point Of Runoff! AVOID HARD CONTACT BETWEEN SPRAY AND FOLIAGE.

WE CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THE IMPORTANCE OF PROPER APPLICATION
