in the Black Community

The education of our Black children and youth is one of the ways to break down the cycle of poverty in the American society. The evil of racism spills over into the mainstream of public and private education.
The Educating the Black Child Committee of the National Black Catholic Sisters Conference presents Educational Programs throughout the year. For information on current presentations and to send ideas and suggestions for reaching out to our Black children and youth, please contact:

Our youth are our future. Rooted in faith in a God who loves every human person equally, our youth will become the compassionate leaders of the next millennium whose focus is peace, justice, and love.
